The Best Giveaways for Every Major League Baseball Team in 2026

Opening Day is nearly here and there’s hope for every single squad. That will change. Very soon, attending some Major League Baseball games will feel more like a chore. Thankfully, there are giveaways.

Here are the best giveaways for every Major League Baseball team in 2026. None of these giveaways require special tickets.

AL East

Baltimore Orioles

May 8 vs Athletics: Tupac Bobblehead

I’d prefer their Orioles hockey jersey but that was our pick last year. This bobblehead game will move tickets.

Boston Red Sox

April 20 vs Detroit Tigers: Patriots’ Day Windbreaker

Not a lot of options for the Red Sox. Popular teams don’t need good giveaways.

New York Yankees

April 17 vs Kansas City Royals: Yankees Hockey Jersey

See Boston Red Sox.

Tampa Bay Rays

May 2 vs San Francisco Giants: Tropicana Field Light-Up Replica

The smallest of silver linings of a 2024 hurricane that forced the team out of their home for the 2025 season.

Toronto Blue Jays

May 25 vs Miami Marlins: ‘Born Ready’ Vladdy Bobblehead

The defending American League champs do not need so many fantastic giveaways, but in spite of their on field success, they still approach giveaways like they’re needed to get fans into the park. Their bobblehead lineup is great and the kid Vladdy bobblehead may be the best bobblehead of the season.

AL Central

Chicago White Sox

April 25 vs Washington Nationals: ’90s City Connect Jacket

The White Sox typically have some of the best giveaways and theme nights, sometimes they’re for the same game. This year’s theme night highlights include Halfway to Halloween and Emo Night. But the giveaway highlight is their ’90s City Connect Jacket. Unsurprisingly, this is a game early in the season (the best giveaways are typically in April and September and against poor performing teams) and April in Chicago means you might actually need a jacket. Making this giveaway even better is a new giveaway related ticket option, meaning you can get to the game whenever you want and still get your bobblehead, t-shirt, jacket, jersey, etc.

Cleveland Guardians

May 25 vs Washington Nationals: City Connect Plush Blanket

I have a Chicago Bulls St. Patrick’s Day blanket that gets way more use than any other giveaway. It would get even more use if I lived in the Midwest.

Detroit Tigers

May 2 vs Texas Rangers: Caricature Crewneck

The mock-up looks good. Even if the real version doesn’t live up to expectations, caricature merch is superior to non-cartoon big head players.

Kansas City Royals

May 9 vs Detroit Tigers: Nickelodeon Night Slime Jersey

Have you ever wanted a baseball jersey that looks like it got green slimed? If it weren’t for the perennial generous White Sox, the Royals would have the best giveaways for 2026. I checked multiple times and this does not require a special tickets and it’s not just for kids. This is how to do giveaways.

Minnesota Twins

April 3 vs Tampa Bay Rays: Opening Day Beanie

A good-looking and useful Opening Day giveaway. The runner up is the kids version the following day.

AL West

Athletics

April 4 vs Houston Astros: Sacramento Baseball Jersey

The A’s promo schedule is incredibly fascinating after last year’s lackluster season of schwag. You might have noticed this team isn’t related to any particular city. They’re not quite the Sacramento A’s, not yet the Los Vegas A’s. Their promos reflect this odd situation. While they lean into being a Sacramento team on jerseys, shirts and water bottles, there’s also Vegas stuff too since the squad is playing some homestands in the Vegas Triple-A affiliate club. For odd historical reasons, I want all of this stuff. But the clear winner comes early in the season. It may not be as fun as the wiffle ball set, useful as the kids baseball glove or as silly as the pro wrestling styled championship belt bag (it looks like a fanny pack, which is appropriate), but a Sacramento A’s jersey, their alternate jersey, something not even sold in their official MLB shop store, it the must have of 2026 promos.

Houston Astros

May 30 vs Milwaukee Brewers: City Connect Gym Bag

A+ giveaways from the Stros this year. Usefulness ultimately won out on a schedule that also includes a Pride fan and princess tiara.

Los Angeles Angels

May 1 vs New York Mets: Angels Bomber Jacket

When Ohtani was an Angel this club had some of the most fun promos in baseball. They no longer have the best player in the game and their giveaways reflect this reality.

Seattle Mariners

May 1 vs Kansas City Royals: Randy Johnson ’80s Jersey Night

This is what I want from baseball club promos, lots of bobbleheads and commemorative pins, stuff you can’t easily purchase from the team store, sprinkled throughout the entire regular season. Another great series of giveaways that was very difficult to choose from, I’m going with the Big Unit jersey giveaway the night before his number retirement ceremony night.

Texas Rangers

May 29 vs Kansas City Royals: Nolan Ryan Bloody Lip Jersey

I had to step back and think about why this giveaway wasn’t for a game against the Chicago White Sox. Then I remembered Ryan also had a bloody jersey after fielding a ball hit by Bo Jackson. The Rangers do have a Nolan Ryan Punching Bobblehead giveaway against the White Sox on July 20. Love ‘em or hate ‘em (I hate ‘em), the Rangers have the perfect Nolan-Ryan-was-an-old-man-badass giveaways this year.

NL East

Atlanta Braves

August 11 vs New York Mets: Spencer Strider Vol. 3 Vinyl Record Giveaway

The Braves have really good giveaways for kids this season, a Hawks crossover jersey that’ll be very popular and a neon light I don’t think I’ve seen before. But the actual record giveaway earned my attention. It seems that no one in Atlanta has heard of Disco Demolition Night.

Miami Marlins

June 21 vs San Francisco Giants: Rope Hat

The least popular team in baseball has one of the worst giveaway schedules. There’s no excuse. Anyway, the only time I was in Marlins Park, they did not offer any hats or shirts featuring the original logo. At least this giveaway features the original logo.

New York Mets

April 25 vs Colorado Rockies: Mr. Met at the Unisphere Light-Up Bobblehead

The Mets have the best giveaways for the first half of the season. After the All-Star break, the pickings are slim. If you’re trying to relive the Mets’ 1986 World Series or love Juan Soto you’ll be happy. But I prefer weird and odd stuff like a bobblehead featuring Mr. Met that also lights up.

Philadelphia Phillies

May 7 vs Athletics: Retro Phillies Cap

A middle of the road giveaway slate. Good and popular teams don’t need to lure as many fans to the park.

Washington Nationals

May 15 vs Baltimore Orioles: Hot Dog Hat

Another great year of Nats giveaways, the hot dog hat wins because it’s the kind of giveaway that appeals to people that could care less about America’s past time.

NL Central

Chicago Cubs

August 14 vs St. Louis Cardinals: Cubs 1980s Replica Jersey

The Cubs are good and do not need to have good giveaways. 2026 is another year of good giveaways, especially the replica jerseys. I’m going with the 1980s away jersey because I’ve always wanted one of these and having the Budwesier logo on the back is appropriate due to Harry Caray’s 1980s Cub Fan/Bud Man ad campaign.

Holy shit, I might have based my entire fan existence around this ad campaign…

Cincinatti Reds

March 28 vs Boston Red Sox: Kids Reds Cap

While the giveaways are solid, the team makes attending a game more appealing with consistently and well priced nightly specials. Not great if you just care about branded pieces of plastic and cloth, but it’s worth noting.

Milwaukee Brewers

May 10 vs New York Yankees: Picnic Blanket

While it’s not the best slate of giveaways, it’s my favorite for the second year running. I want the bird hat. I want the Aaron jersey. I want the bar dice set. Obviously I want the picnic blanket. As a Cubs rival, I hate the Brewers. As a baseball fan, I wish every team had this level of promos.

Pittsburgh Pirates

July 26 vs Chicago Cubs: Daniel Tiger Plush Giveaway

The Pirates have the best kids giveaways of 2026, including comic books, baseball cards and a plushie of the best striped tiger of all time.

St. Louis Cardinals

April 24 vs Seattle Mariners: Cardinals Jersey: Dark Mode

The Cards sweatshirts are better than their jerseys but they only come in medium and XL and I’m a large.

NL West

Arizona Diamondbacks

May 23 vs Colorado Rockies: Serpientes Replica Jersey

This team has way too many giveaways tied to special tickets. They are not popular enough to nickel and dime every fan for most every giveaway.

Colorado Rockies

August 1 vs Kansas City Royals: Colorado 150th Birthday Wearable Flag

Yep. A wearable flag.

Los Angeles Dodgers

April 10 vs Texas Rangers: Shohei Ohtani “Greatest Game” Bobblehead Part 1

The World Series champs have multiple bobbleheads commemorating game 7 of the 2025 World Series. As they should. But we’re going with this Ohtani bobblehead since I can’t recommend all four games featuring the game 7 bobbleheads.

San Diego Padres

July 28 vs Colorado Rockies: Poncho

Yep. A poncho.

San Francisco Giants

April 26 vs Miami Marlins: Youth Flip-Up Sunglasses

I wanted these as a Little Leaguer. Little Leaguers still love flip-up sunglasses.
